LIQA (لقاء) is a private, invite-only event management platform designed for discerning hosts in Qatar. It enables you to create exclusive events, manage your guest list, and deliver beautifully crafted invitations directly to your guests via WhatsApp — all from your mobile phone.

LIQA operates on a concierge model: our team works closely with you to handle the details, so your event experience is seamless and professional from start to finish.

LIQA is built for hosts who value precision and privacy — private individuals, event planners, and corporate teams organising exclusive events in Qatar. If you host events where the quality of the invitation experience matters, LIQA is for you.

LIQA is currently focused on the Qatari market. The platform operates in QAR (Qatari Riyal) and supports Arabic and English. We may expand to other GCC markets in the future.

Download the LIQA app (available on iOS and Android) and register using your phone number. You'll receive a one-time password via WhatsApp to verify your identity — no email or password required.

The LIQA app is fully available in both English and Arabic (with right-to-left support). You can switch your app language at any time in your profile settings.

Note: the language of your app and the language of your event invitations are set independently. You can run your app in English while sending Arabic-language invitations to your guests, or vice versa.

After you create and pay for your event in the app, the LIQA team will contact you to collect your guest list (as a CSV file) and your invitation image. You'll deliver these to us via WhatsApp.

Our team then uploads your guest list and invitation image, and sends a personalised WhatsApp invitation to each guest — one-to-one, with your event's image attached and a quick-reply button for RSVP (Yes / No / Maybe).

Guest responses are captured instantly and reflected in your real-time RSVP dashboard.

No. Guests receive their invitation directly on WhatsApp and can RSVP with a single tap — no app download required.

Optionally, guests can download the LIQA app to access their full invitation history and save events to their calendar.

Yes. You can manually add guests both before invitations are sent ("Invitation Design" status) and after they have been sent ("Invitation Sent" status), as long as your package still has available invitation slots.

If you need more slots than your original package, please contact the LIQA team.

When a guest declines, you receive additional replacement invitation slots, proportional to the number of declines:

• Standard: 10% of declined invitations (minimum 1)
• VIP: 25% of declined invitations (minimum 1)

These slots are permanent and accumulate dynamically as more guests decline. You can use them to invite additional guests through the LIQA team.

VIP users can also view messages left by declined guests on the in-app message board.

Yes. After your event has been paid for, you can add co-managers from your existing contact database:

• Standard: up to 1 co-manager
• VIP: up to 5 co-managers

Co-managers can view the guest list and RSVP status. They can add guests from their own contacts but cannot edit or delete guests. You, as the host, remain responsible for all event decisions.

VIP includes everything in Standard, plus:

• Automated 24-hour reminder via WhatsApp to guests who haven't responded
• QR code check-in system (scannable by LIQA staff at the event)
• Message board — view messages from guests who declined
• Up to 5 co-managers (vs. 1 on Standard)
• 25% replacement slots on declines (vs. 10% on Standard)
• Post-event e-invitation for the reception

Pricing is tiered by the number of invitations. All prices are in QAR.

Standard:

• 50 invitations — 850 QAR
• 100 invitations — 1,650 QAR
• 200 invitations — 3,000 QAR
• 500 invitations — 6,700 QAR

VIP:

• 100 invitations — 2,500 QAR
• 200 invitations — 4,600 QAR
• 500 invitations — 10,000 QAR

You can combine multiple tiers in a single order (e.g., 100 Standard + 100 VIP for different guest segments).

Payments are made via TAP Payments, a secure browser-based checkout that opens directly within the LIQA app. You can pay with major credit and debit cards accepted in Qatar.

Payment must be completed before the LIQA team begins processing your guest list and sending invitations.

Invitations are sent from the verified LIQA لقاء WhatsApp Business account, which displays a verified business badge. Each message includes the event name, date, venue, and the host-provided invitation image — making it immediately recognisable to the invited guest.

Invitations are delivered to the phone number provided by the host. If a guest's active WhatsApp number is different from what the host has on record, the invitation may not be delivered. Please ensure you have the correct WhatsApp numbers for your guests before submitting the guest list.

Your guest data is stored securely in a private database with row-level access controls — only you and authorised LIQA staff can access your event's guest list. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections at all times.

We do not sell, rent, or share guest data with any third party beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the service (e.g., sending the WhatsApp invitation via Twilio).

Yes. Any individual (host or guest) may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting us at support@liqa-invite.com. We will respond within 30 days.
